NEW JERSEY PRIMARY
The general sentiment going into Super Tuesday was that it would either decide everything or prove that this presidential race was a fight to the finish. Well, yes and yes. For the Republicans, John McCain clinched enough delegates to make him nearly unbeatable. Mitt Romney took his delegates and went home, suspending his campaign. Mike Huckabee had a strong showing in the South and said that he was sticking with it, but the odds are long and many relegated him to running for VP.

For Democrats, Barack Obama won more states and inched out Clinton to claim more delegates. With months of primaries and caucuses remaining, it became for them a Democrats vs. McCain contest. Although Ron Paul remains and collects single-digit percentages most states, he's on the media's ignore list. At least Mike Gravel gets a consistent 0 percent to earn his media blackout.
