FLORIDA PRIMARY
To Democrats, Florida technically meant nothing. To Republicans, it meant a lot. Florida was another state "punished" by the national captial-P Parties for moving its primary up on the schedule. The Democratic Party took away all of Florida's delegates and the Republican Party took away half. So, Clinton's 50 percent win accrues no delegates, but she's pushing to seat them anyway after winning here and in Michigan (another "punished" state). For McCain, the winner-takes-all rule gives him 57 delegates and a sizable lead in the GOP contest thus far.
