Z GDP — Gross Domestic Product is a complex mathy way to measure a country's economy; most simply, it's like the 'profit' of the country for the stuff it makes and provides; GDP focuses on where that stuff is made and provided. (

GNP — Gross National Product is nearly the same thing as GDP, but focuses on who makes and provides stuff rather than where; the number values are not the same, and GDP tends to be more relevant globally.
global warming — Most literally, it is the measured increase of Earth's air and ocean temperatures; the endless debate is over why this has happened and if it will continue; however, opponents of the idea have also denied that there have been temperature increases, usually insinuating some sort of conspiracy; this is one of the most politically charged scientific issues in the world with politicians using it as the flagship issue to prove that they are environmentally conscious; because of this, it is hard to reconcile the conflicting viewpoints, which consistently mix scientific work with political positioning. globalization — Can refer to culture but more often to economics; simply means the interdependence and mixing of countries and regions of the world; often used out of context by politicians trying to seem worldly.
